Street Photography on 35mm film in Amsterdam.
Gear used: Praktica BCS electronic, Prakticar 50mm F/2.4 and Kodak Portra 400
After shooting on glorious 35mm film for the first time I couldn't stop there. I wanted to get back out there again to get better at shooting on film. The only obstacle standing in my way was coming up with an idea. Unlike digital I can’t just shoot everything, delete later and reuse the film. Because of that I wanted to go out with a general idea of I what I wanted to capture.
A couple of days ago I saw someone on Twitter turning his photos into album covers. He claimed that you can basically turn any photo into an album cover. I mean, by looks of his photos it did seem like he was legit on to something. So, I thought to myself, “Why don’t I just try that?”.
Ok, I have the camera and Portra 400 film, but I'm missing one more thing. I’m a YouTuber so I have to record it too. Thus, I also grabbed my GoPro, hopped on a train and headed to Amsterdam to do some POV street photography.
